A 108 feet sailboat currently under construction

 

 

A 33 meters ketch is currently under construction at the ALU MARINE Shipyard.

 

This sailboat of 108 feet long and 26 feet wide, designed in collaboration with the Geronimo Naval Design architect office, is intented to oceanographic exploration and television production in the Indian ocean.

 

She will be equipped with 2 x 294 HP engines and will offer a 514 m² sail area for a cruising speed from 10 to 12 knots. She will have a capacity of 10 sleepings on board.

She will have two masts, one of 25 meters, the other of 35 meters height.
The engine room, particularly spacious, and the large storage capabilities will allow the boat to sail on long distances. With a few crew members only.
